![]() ![]() I too had the problem of making too little money (but not enough to go into negative balance. It takes time, and you might get a very bad month in terms of revenues, but you'll be back on track the next month, with a fresh stream. If that happens, freeze the time and send all the low diagnostic / low health patients home, one by one. Last but not least, at some point, you might be stuck, too many people queuing, and no matter what you do, you can't speed it up. If you really don't know why it's taking so long, follow a patient (click on him) from the reception to treatment, and see what's his trip, why he's going somewhere unexpected or far, what are his needs and feelings, it might hold the answer of your trouble. And I'd advise you to refrain from building cafeteria, newsagent and souvenir shop, in their current state (1.0.5) they're more of a challenge than a commodity. But it's totally fine to dismiss them.Īlso, be careful with psychiatry, it's good but can take a long time, and because that room is diagnostic and cure, the queue can become an issue. It can be an interesting income though, because even if you fail it, the patients will remain in your hospital and pay for the treatment. There's no penalty when you dismiss them. If your bathroom becomes so full patients and doctors can't even properly get in or out, close it for a while, or make it staff only.ĭon't bother with emergencies for now, unless you've already got the treatment room ready and an idle nurse/doctor to handle it. ![]() ![]() Also, when the diagnostic takes too long, your patients will want to go to the bathroom, and this very place can become a real trouble. Keep your staff happy (promote them with a good salary, build them nice rooms with useful and prestigious things, happy doctors and nurses are more efficient). And bins ! If you see your patients or doctors queuing for any of these, build more, or everything will be slowed down. Make sure to have drinks, food, distractions around. Once your GPs are very well trained, you can even get GP>Treatment for "easy" disease, greatly increasing your efficiency.Īlso, your queues can be slowed down if your patients and doctors can't satisfy their needs in their vicinity. Make sure to specialise your doctors and nurses, use the checkboxes to forbid them to work in rooms they're not good at (unless you don't have the proper staff yet, but make sure this situation doesn't remain for too long). You need good GPs for that, and good diagnostic, you must try to avoid GP>Diag>GP>Diag>GP, for obvious reasons. What you're aiming for is GP>Diag>GP>Treatment. Like Anders said, long GP queues can be a symptom of too few GPs office, but most of the time it's because of the diagnostic loop. Make a loan if you can't afford it, it's a good bet (but remember, when you reach -200 000, the game is over). They're costly, but more efficient and patients pay a lot for it, you'll have your money back in no time. Once you're in a better shape, you can decrease the prices in order to increase patients' happiness and speed up your reputation. ![]() It helps you to be in positive at the end of the month, thus allowing you to hire either qualified staff or newbies to train (and teacher for them). It slows your reputation (can even decrease it), giving you more time to handle the patients. Don't be afraid to raise the prices, especially for treatment. ![]()
